2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. Processing generally takes place only with your consent or on the basis of a statutory permission. Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies and no statutory retention periods prevent deletion.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When the website is accessed, technically required data is processed (see server log files).
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of the website pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the provider. Processing takes place exclusively on servers in Germany.
4. Server log files
Each time the site is accessed, the system automatically collects data and information from the accessing device. This includes the IP address, date and time of access, the page/file accessed, the referrer URL, and the browser type and operating system. This data is used to deliver the website, ensure system security, and analyze technical errors. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
5. Cookies and consent
We use technically necessary cookies to enable the website's functionality and to store your privacy settings. Storing your cookie choice is required to fulfil your selection (Section 25 (2) TDDDG). We only use non-essential cookies and comparable technologies (e.g. for statistics and marketing) with your consent via our cookie banner (Section 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings.
6. Google Analytics 4
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze the use of the website. We use Google Consent Mode v2; without your consent, analytics cookies are disabled by default ("denied"). A transfer to the USA (Google LLC) cannot be ruled out and is based on the standard contractual clauses.

7. Meta Pixel
With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland, to measure the success of our advertising and analyze reach. Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA; the transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.
8. Appointment booking via Cal.com
To schedule appointments, we embed the Cal.com service provided by Cal.com, Inc., USA, as an overlay (pop-up). The service is only loaded once you open the booking window. When you book an appointment, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, requested time, and any messages) to conduct the call.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR where you have given consent. Any transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses.
9. Blog content (Webflow)
The content of our blog is managed via the content management system Webflow, provided by Webflow, Inc., USA, and delivered through our servers. The legal basis for providing the content is our legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our offer pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
10. Fonts
We use the "Geist" font. It is served locally from our server and is bundled at build time. Therefore, no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) is established when the website is accessed; no personal data is transmitted to third parties in this respect.
11. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your information to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if the request is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (handling the request).
12. Transfers to third countries
Some of the services we use are based in or process data in the USA. Where no adequacy decision exists, a transfer takes place on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) or — where certified — the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
